Both Tackle and Flag Football are played in the fall, depending on player grade level in the fall.

Tackle Football: Grades 4th through 8th. Registration fee is $350. This INCLUDES the uniform, and player keeps the jersey.
4th Grade is Rookie Tackle, which is 8 x 8 and played on the half field (a 50 yard field).

5th through 8th is standard, full field tackle, 11 x 11.  

REGISTRATION ENDS SUNDAY JUNE 2nd. UNIFORM FITTING IS THE FIRST WEEK OF JUNE. ANY LATE REGISTRATIONS THAT ARE ACCEPTED  WILL INCUR A $50 SURCHARGE. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT ANYONE WILL BE PERMITTED TO REGISTER AFTER JUNE 2nd due to league deadlines, elaborate uniform/equipment ordering, and capacity constraints. 

5th - 8th grade tackle games are expected to begin end of August, there's an 8 game schedule.
Rookie Tackle is expected to begin early September.
Tackle games are typically played on Saturday. All tackle practices are held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm. Sometimes this is modified to fewer evenings later in the season, depending on how things are going. Coach's discretion. 

Flag Football: Kindergarten through 3rd grade. 
Flag registration fee is $150. This includes uniform.

NOTE FOR TACKLE PARTICIPANTS: game pants, practice pants, shoulder pads, and helmet are issued before the season starts, and there is a $200 equipment deposit that is required at pickup.  When equipment is returned in acceptable condition at end of season, the deposit will be canceled.

Flag games are expected to begin later September. Flag practices are generally Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Flag games are on the weekend. Final details will be distributed after registration ends and this is subject to change.

Registration fees INCLUDE two weeks of football training camp in the summer and a camp t-shirt. 
Week 1 Camp will be the evenings of July 17-18, and an optional Combine on Friday evening July 19th. This is for K - 8th grade.
The July 17-18 nights are led by FHC High School Head Coach Malach Radigan and his staff and players, and  it is held at FHC High School on the main turf. It's an awesome experience for our Jr Spartan players, coaches, and families. 
The second week is immediately following and will be Jr Spartan team-level camp, still in the evenings. The amount of days and the time camp will be held in week two are TBD. Expect at least 3 days. 

It is the expectation that all players attend camp . 

The Jr Spartan Combine will be held the evening of July 19th. All grade levels. This is optional but all players are encouraged to participate. 

There will be a Spartan Nation Football Family Day later in the Summer, date TBD.  This will include all Spartan Football families Pre-K through 12th Grade. 

There is a payment plan available for registration fees. Just select that option during checkout. In special cases of need, Financial Assistance is available. For families with multiple players in the same household, there is a 25% discount per additional child registered after the first.

You will need this code(s) to complete checkout, so you may want to send the email first

Due to the way discount codes are processed, each child must be registered separately.
There is no option to register multiple children in one registration session.

FHC Jr Spartan Football is part of the Jr GAC. The Jr GAC is made up of organizations who "feed" the high school programs of the GAC - the Gateway Athletic Conference. This is the largest HS athletic conference in the state of MO. 
NOTE: As our program and other area programs grow rapidly, some flag teams may participate in competitive leagues
other than the Jr GAC. This is determined per season.

Generally, you can expect to play the Jr/feeder teams of the surrounding area high schools,
such as the other Howells, the Ft Zumwalts, the Wentzvilles, and Troy, etc. It is competitive, exciting football. 
Jr Spartan Football is COMPETITIVE football. While it is developmental in nature, expect playing time to be competitive and it 
is helpful if you encourage your player to approach their participation with vigor, attentiveness,
and dedication to continuous improvement. 

FHC Jr Spartan football is for players who reside in the Howell Central Attendance Zone. 

There is a link in this registration  to check your attendance zone if you're unsure and you will check a box confirming you have verified.

You will be required to upload address verification (a current utility bill, tax record, or report card),

and a birth certificate if the player is new to the Jr Spartans,

There is a volunteer-hour requirement or a buyout. Those details are on that page in this registration process.

 

 

ALSO, the Athlete Code of Conduct and the Parent Code of Conduct are in this registration for E-SIGNATURE.

Registration can't be completed without signing for acceptance of these codes,

and the signatures are binding. 

Please review the Codes of Conduct carefully and take them to heart. We sure do.
